Indah Permatasari Challenged To Be Angry Using Javanese In The Film Sakaratul Maut

JAKARTA - The production house of Rapi Film will again release their latest horror film, one of which is Indah Permatasari, entitled Sakaratul Maut, which will start showing in theaters starting August 1.

In an interview with VOI, Indah Permatasari revealed one of the challenges she had to face when undergoing the shooting process, namely the Javanese dialogue.

Indah cannot deny that learning Javanese for this film is quite difficult because she herself is a person from Makassar.

"If I personally go to language because it's more difficult. Because I'm afraid some places don't have Javanese (language), I do it, I really think, thank God it went smoothly, because there was also a reading process," explained Indah Permatasari at the Rapi Film office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.

The film Sakaratul Maut takes the background of stories from the Central Java area so that the players are challenged to be fluent in speaking Javanese, as well as Indah Permatasari.

Indah told a moment during the shooting process where she had to say Javanese while getting angry. He admitted that at that time he sounded like he was doing a rapper-like rap.

"You have to say Java is fluent, while Wati is an outspoken person, when you say the tempo is fast, and Wati here is very often angry, so I really feel like I'm absorbing, it's okay if I'm wrong, but thank God it went smoothly," said Indah Permatasari.

Furthermore, Indah Permatasari said the reason she finally accepted the offer to play in horror films, especially the film Sakaratul Maut.

For the wife of the comic artist Arie Kriting, the film Sakaratul Maut presents a family conflict wrapped in horror so that the story she builds is very interesting to play.

"This film does not only bring horror, but the story aspect is very logical, every character has their own goals so that it becomes a sweet film even though it is a horror genre, this film indirectly makes our logic work," he said.
