PKS Make Sure Not To Be Pramono-Rano's Opposition During The Jakarta Governor-Deputy

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD as well as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKS Regional Leadership Council Khoirudin ensured that his faction would not become an opposition in the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno government while serving as Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta.

Khoirudin confirmed that he would cooperate with Pramono-Rano to run the government in Jakarta in the next five years.

This was revealed by Khoirudin after meeting with Pramono at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta, South Jakarta. The meeting with the joint lunch took place for one hour.

"We manage Jakarta together. Everything is good for the citizens of Jakarta, we decide together. There is no term opposition," Khoirudin told reporters, Wednesday, December 18.

PKS, admitted Khoirudin, did not support Pramono-Rano in the Jakarta gubernatorial election, but the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair promoted by KIM Plus.

However, according to Khoirudin, the vision and mission and program of the PDIP candidate pair is not much different from the regional long-term development plan (RPJPD) that the DKI Provincial Government and DPRD had prepared before the change of regional heads.

"Actually, all gubernatorial candidates who advance into the regional election contestation have been tied by the RPJPD bond. They cannot leave there. This means that the vision and vision of the governor candidate are all intersecting. This means that it exists. Even though they are not asked, it remains the same. Still there," said Khoirudin.

Khoirudin then revealed the contents of the discussion with Pramono ahead of the appointment of the elected Governors and Deputy Governors of Jakarta. The main thing is about efforts to improve the welfare of the people of Jakarta.

"How do we improve the welfare of Jakarta residents. That's about it. How to solve the remaining Jakarta problems. God willing, hopefully with this synergy, the good will be for all Jakarta residents," explained Khoirudin.
