The Beginning Of Zaskia Gotix's Husband's Introduction To Arif Yahya, The Defendant Of Church Corruption In Mimika

JAKARTA - The husband of dangdut singer Zaskia Gotik, Sirajuddin Machmud was presented by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in a trial for alleged corruption in the construction of the Kingmi Mile 32 Church in Mimika Regency, Papua today, Thursday, April 18.

During the trial, Sirajuddin was asked about the initial introduction to one of the defendants in this corruption case, namely Arif Yahya. Sirajuddin explained that the beginning of their meeting took place 10 years ago while playing golf together.

"About 10 years ago on the golf course, we know him. So if we make an appointment, for example the four of us. Usually these 4 people bring more friends. So what I remember was that Arif's brother was taken by my friend," said Sirajuddin Machmud at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday, April 18.

Then in 2015 Sirajuddin explained that he had met Arif Yahya again when he was actively running for deputy mayor of Balikpapan.

"Once. In 2015 I was in charge of joining, I remember meeting Arif's brother again after golf, yes, when I took part in the 2015 regional election. Now suddenly the person concerned came, so I don't see who brought him, but at that time I was gathering the masses and the team, one of them, Arif, came," explained Sirajuddin.

It didn't stop there, Sirajuddin admitted that he last met Arif Yahya in 2022 when they both played golf at the Senayan golf course.

"What I remember was that in 2022 I last met at the Senayan golf course," he explained.

Furthermore, Sirajuddin admitted that after the meeting on the golf course he had a fairly close relationship with Arif Yahya because he met many times while playing golf together. However, he did not know Arif Yahya's real job background.

"After the initial meeting, after that I was quite close, I met many times at golf. I even knew this was him (Arif Yahya) a coal miner. As a matter of coal. Related to coal mining," he continued.
