Joko Anwar's Special Treatment For Child Players In Horror Films

JAKARTA - Director Joko Anwar is often seen involving minor actors in several of his horror film projects. Seeing this, Joko Anwar said that he gave special treatment.

First, Joko emphasized that he always makes two screenplay versions in every horror project that involves children, namely a special scenario for players under the age of 15.

"I even have two versions of the scenario, the first is the minor version, the small child version. So the Siksa Kubur scenario is that the children under 15 receive minor ones, not minors but for small children, so minor versions," said Joko Anwar in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Monday, March 4.

Joko deliberately adjusted the scenario that was safe for the children to read. Because he doesn't want them to know things that don't match their age.

"So I have changed the scenario, adjusting it in such a way that it is safe for children to read. Of course we don't want to expose children to something that doesn't match their age. So there really is assistance," he continued.

Even Joko said that the actors of the children in his horror film project were always accompanied by his parents. And previously he will explain every scene that will be done.
