JAKARTA - The committee announced the 2024 Asian Film Award nomination. Again, Japanese films and South Korean films compete in the highest award in Southeast Asia.

Ryusuke Hamaguchi's Evil Doesn't Exist competed with the film 12.12 The Day leading the nomination with six categories. The 12.12 The Day film is known to be the best-selling film in 2023 with 12 million viewers since its release in November.

In addition, a number of films such as Perfect Days, Monster, also received nominations at this award event.
