Results Of Clinical Trials For The Best COVID-19 Vaccine Series, Deputy Health Minister Dante Claims Sinovac Is The Most Effective

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes) Dr. Dante Saksono revealed that the best line of Corona vaccines can prevent COVID-19.

"From 7 large clinical trials of vaccines, such as Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Novavax, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinovac have been proven effective in preventing complications of COVID-19", said Dr. Dante in a webinar, Sunday, March 7.

However, Dr. Dante said that the best vaccine is a vaccine that can be obtained immediately so that it can protect against COVID-19.

"My answer, not as anyone in the Ministry of Health, but as a doctor who meets patients on a daily basis is whatever vaccine is the best as long as you can get vaccinated, that's the best", said Dr. Dante.

According to him, the Corona vaccine cannot prevent infection. But the immunity that comes from vaccination means that the body will not experience a severe infection if it is exposed to COVID-19.

"This makes us believe that vaccination is important for all of us regardless of the brand", he said.

Dante also added, if the Coronavirus infection only causes mild symptoms that are not dangerous or deadly, then countries will not be busy vaccinating their citizens with COVID-19.
