Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, said that Ridwan Kamil's wife, Atalia Praratya, is still in the Bandung mayor election market (Pilwalkot), although Atalia managed to qualify as a member of the 2024-2029 DPR from the West Java electoral district I.

Doli stated that Atalia is still considering which seat he will hold in the future.

"Not yet, not yet (resigning the mayor of Bandung). Well, especially later what Mrs. Atalia is also considering is also advancing in the DPR, so if she becomes mayor, it must resign. That's not necessarily everyone after the match, get something, then have to compete again and withdraw yesterday. That's not necessarily what you want. That's a point that is one of the considerations," said Doli, Thursday, April 25.

Doli is grateful that Atalia was able to secure the Golkar seat in the DPR. Thus, public trust in Atalia is considered high.

"Alhamdullilah, Mrs. Atalia is carrying out her duties well. In the electoral district, Mrs. Atalia gets a DPR seat, instead adds two seats and the votes are also high, 180,000-190,000. So it means that the aspirations conveyed by the people of Bandung City are not wrong, that Mrs. Atalia is quite popular and her electability is quite good during the legislative elections," said Doli.

Doli emphasized that Atalia and Golkar's steps, including Ridwan Kamil in the future, will still be reviewed to find the best results.

"We'll see the progress later. If one of them is later, we will also consider whether it becomes positive when Mr. Ridwan Kamil is in West Java, then his wife is in Bandung, it will add positive or even negative value, which we will also study later. So everything is still open," concluded Doli
