Oppenheimer Pimpin Nominasi Piala Oscar 2024, 13 Nominasi

JAKARTA - Pihak komite mengumumkan nominasi Academy Award ke-96 yang menjadi penghargaan tertinggi di bidang perfilman. Oppenheimer kembali memimpin nominasi dengan 13 nominasi diikuti dengan Poor Things karya Yorgos Lanthimos dengan 11 nominasi.

Film terbaru Leonardo DiCaprio, Killers of the Flower Moon menerima 10 nominasi. Barbie yang sukses memimpin box office menerima 8 nominasi termasuk Film Terbaik.

Dalam nominasi ini, pertama kalinya tiga film yang masuk ke nominasi Film Terbaik juga disutradarai oleh perempuan. Martin Scorsese juga menjadi rekor dengan sutradara tertua yang menerima nominasi.

Persaingan para aktor dan aktris juga semakin sengit dengan Cillian Murphy, Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, dan lainnya. Lily Gladstone menjadi wanita asli Amerika (Native American) pertama yang menerima nominasi. Ia akan bersaing dengan Emma Stone, Annette Bening, Sandra Huller, Carey Mulligan.
