Stars And Rabbit Hipnotis Spectators Samalas Fest At The Foot Of Mount Rinjani

JAKARTA - The music group Stars and Rabbit, Saturday night (26/8), hypnotized the audience of Samalas Fest held by Perum LKBN BETWEEN the West Nusa Tenggara Bureau in Sembalun Lawang or the foot of Mount Rinjani.

From Antara's observation, hundreds of Stars and Rabbit fans who have filled the show area since Saturday afternoon, were "forced" to sway slightly following the rhythm of the music.

Especially on the "Man on The Hill" song from their debut album "Constellation" which was released in 2015. At first the audience sat quietly, soon got up to sway together.

At least eight songs were sung by the indie pop genre musician.

Elda's vocal character combined with a guitar excerpt from Didit Saad gave a new color in the music industry in Indonesia.

Since its appearance, the works of Stars and Rabbit such as "Man upon The Hill" have been able to steal the attention of Indonesian music lovers, especially folk music lovers.

"It was really amazing and a new experience, we played at the foot of Mount Rinjani," said Elda, the vocalist.

Likewise, Didit, a Stars & Rabbit guitar player, could not say anything to see the response of his fans in Lombok.

"I can't say anything to see the audience's response," he said.

"I hope to come back to Sembalun," he said.

The Samalas Fest event also presented musicians from Lombok Island, namely, The Dare, Ary Juliyant, Sisisa, Isvara, Sangga Boemi, Chandra Irawan and others.
