JAKARTA Over the past few weeks, rumors about the launch date of the iPhone 16 series have been circulating, but there is no definite date yet. Now, Apple has confirmed its official launch schedule. On August 26, Apple updated the developer's page with information in the form of the name and date of the event they are going to hold. The event titled It's Glowtime will be held on September 9 at 23.00 WIB. As usual, Apple does not include any such device-like information that they will launch. However, from the images Apple shared, it is clearly visible that the launch this time will be related to Apple Intelligence. Apple's launch format is still the same as last year, namely using hybrid or combined systems. Apple will host its events offline and online via Apple's website, Apple TV, and Apple's YouTube channel.

Although there is no strong information about the device Apple is about to launch, it is certain that the iPhone 16 series will be a highlight on the It's Glowtime event. This device consists of four models, namely the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. All four devices will get Apple Intelligence, according to Apple's promise at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event. Thanks to this AI model, the iPhone 16 series will become more sophisticated coupled with the integration of ChatGPT to Siri's virtual assistant. From the news circulating, Siri's latest version will not be available when the iPhone 16 series is released. This major update will be released on iOS 18 the minor version, namely 18.1.
