Polda Metro Jaya Involve Puslabfor to Reveal the Death of Karumga Former Jampidsus Febri Adriansyah

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya together with the South Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the cause of the death of Sutrimo, Head of the Household (Karumga) of the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah. The police ensure that the investigation process is carried out thoroughly to reveal the exact cause of the victim's death.

Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, said that as part of the investigation, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police had held an investigation at the crime scene (TKP) on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The activity also involved a team from the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor).

"We also understand the concerns and questions that arise in the community. To ensure the cause of the death of brother S, the police conducted an investigation of the crime scene with the involvement of Puslabfor and a series of other investigative actions," he said, Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

In addition to processing the crime scene, investigators also took a number of samples from the scene of the incident to be examined at the forensic laboratory. The examination was carried out to obtain certainty regarding the cause of death of the victim based on scientific results.

"Investigators have also examined a number of witnesses and collected various information and clues related to the incident," said Budi.

He emphasized that all the findings obtained were still being analyzed comprehensively. Therefore, the police have not concluded the cause of Sutrimo's death.

"Polda Metro Jaya also appeals to the public not to speculate and wait for the official results of the investigation, which is currently still ongoing," he concluded.
