The SmartThings application itself which is pre-loaded on the Galaxy smartphone can be connected to a wider variety of devices such as Smart Tag, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, Smart TV, Smart Monitor, to smart household devices.

Samsung promises an activity experience enriched by seamless multi-device connectivity through a single Internet of Things (IoT) application. With a rich and interconnected multi-device ecosystem to meet the needs of consumers with a variety of lifestyles and different personal preferences.

An example is SmartThings Deep Integration, allowing IoT-based devices to adapt to the routines of the user. So, the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G users only need to access the 'companion app on each IoT device they own.
