JAKARTA - Billionaire and founder of artificial intelligence startup Elon Musk announced that their latest chatbot, Grok-1.5, will be available on social media platform X next week. In a post on Friday 29 March on X, Musk stated, "Grok 2 is supposed to surpass the current artificial intelligence in all metrics. It's in the training stage now."
xAI stated in a statement on Thursday, March 28 that Grok-1.5, an upgraded version of their chatbot, will be available for preliminary testing and for Grok users already on X in the coming days.
Earlier this month, Musk said that xAI would make Grok open-source, days after he sued Microsoft-backed OpenAI for being accused of leaving its original mission for a profit-oriented model.
