JAKARTA - One of the most feared boxers of all time, Mike Tyson, said that no one is truly fearless after seeing tennis legend Serena Williams practice boxing.
Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts and reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion for three years from 1987 to 1990. So it's no stranger to identifying talent in the ring.
After watching Williams train with a punchbag in 2019, Tyson shared his admiration via Twitter.
"I don't want to enter the ring with this GOAT," he was quoted as saying by Marca, Wednesday.
It is thought the video emerged after the two met in 2019 at an annual camp hosted by Williams coach Patrick Mouratoglou, which has always drawn celebrities in and out of the sport.
However, Tyson is safe for now as Williams is busy with her future tennis career, at the earliest with Wimbledon, which started last Monday.
Entering the tournament as a wildcard, Williams started her tournament on day two against Harmony Tan, who is ranked 113 in the world.
