About The Trial For League 1 Spectators, Menpora: Only In Certain Stadiums

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali, confirmed that the 2021 Liga 1 audience trial would be carried out soon. However, not all stadiums are used for the trial process.

The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized that only stadiums that meet the standard requirements will be used. The main requirement is that the stadium uses a single-seat seating system.

"I have coordinated with PSSI and LIB (the operator of the League 1), they are preparing", said the Menpora, quoted from the PSSI website, Thursday, December 2.

"But not in all places (stadiums), only fields or stadiums with single seats that can have spectators", he continued.

Previously, it was known that PSSI had coordinated with PT LIB to be able to bring spectators to the competition as soon as possible. From the results of the coordination, it was found that there was an agreement that only stadiums that had numbered single seats could be used for testing the attendance of spectators.

This single-seat is very necessary to make it easier to arrange the audience seats. This is to comply with the Covid-19 health protocols.

The plan, audience trials will be conducted soon. PT LIB is now in the final stages of preparation to welcome spectators to the stadium.

The Minister of Youth and Sports also said that later for the initial stage, the possibility of the audience attending was only an invitation.

"That (trial) will use a single seat, and that is also very limited in number", concluded the Menpora.
