GIIAS 2024 Press Carbon Emissions In Automotive World Development

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is ready to welcome the era of clean energy at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. With the spirit of innovation and commitment to sustainability, Pertamina Patra Niaga introduced various initiatives and clean energy products that support the development of the national automotive world.

At the opening ceremony of GIIAS which was opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin on Thursday morning, July 18 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, at the same place as the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to supporting the development of the Indonesian automotive industry through the provision of clean energy.

"We realize that the future of transportation lies in environmentally friendly energy, and therefore, we continue to innovate to provide cleaner and more efficient fuel. Our participation in GIIAS 2024 is a tangible manifestation of this commitment," said Riva, in a written statement, Thursday, July 18.

Through GIIAS 2024, Pertamina Patra Niaga introduces superior products, including low-emission and renewable energy fuels designed to support electric and hybrid vehicles.

"We are responsible for presenting a variety of fuel products with renewable energy such as Pertamax Green 95 and our fuel product mix with renewable energy to prepare for the green energy transition in Indonesia," said Riva.

Riva further explained that another downstream infrastructure that Pertamina Patra Niaga has presented is the Green Energy Station (GES), Charging Station for electric cars and Battery Swapping Stations for electric motors.

"Pertamina's presence in GIIAS this time is to provide solutions for green energy needs that are in line with the automotive trend that requires minimal emission fuel standards, our products and services are appropriate and the quality is good for the needs of community vehicles," he continued.

This step is in line with Pertamina's vision to become a world-class and sustainable national energy company. By continuing to encourage innovation and application of green technology, Pertamina Patra Niaga strives to minimize environmental impacts while meeting the energy needs of the Indonesian people.

We continue to strive to prepare various strategic steps to support this goal, increase energy efficiency such as at the Green Energy Station, and innovation in green technology.
