JAKARTA - After ensuring that it will expand its electric vehicle portfolio in the Indonesian market by presenting the Lepas E4 EV at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This model will be the brand's latest ammunition after previously launching the L8 plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV).
Even though the launch schedule has been confirmed, Lepas has not yet revealed the official price tag for the E4 EV. All information, including prices, will be announced when the annual automotive exhibition takes place.
Vice Country Director Lepas Indonesia Temmy Wiradjaja confirmed that Lepas E4 EV's debut had been scheduled to take place at GIIAS 2026. "E4 will soon be launched at GIIAS. Of course, it will adjust to the demand of the market," said Temmy in Jakarta, last weekend.
When asked about the price range, Temmy chose not to provide details. However, considering the dimensions of the E4 EV are more compact than the L8, this electric car is expected to be marketed at a price below IDR 500 million.

In terms of performance, the Lepas E4 EV is equipped with an electric motor that is capable of producing 160 kW of power or the equivalent of 215 hp with a peak torque of 275 Nm. This car also supports DC Fast Charging technology which allows battery charging from 30 percent to 80 percent in just about 22 minutes, thus supporting more practical daily mobility.
For its energy source, the Lepas E4 EV uses a 65.05 kWh battery that is designed to be efficient in energy use while reducing the frequency of recharging. Reportedly, the maximum cruising range is up to 500 kilometers based on the NEDC standard test method.
Meanwhile, Lepas will also bring the E6 to the country. This car will be present in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026 which falls from October, November or December this year as well, and this will be the second BEV for Lepas in Indonesia.
"We can't say much about this E6 to our friends (media). Even the interior can't be shown at this time," said Temmy.
Temmy explained further that it is likely that this E6 will not be the model shown when GIIAS 2026 takes place. However, Temmy said that his party was focusing on conducting further studies to adapt this new model so that it is in accordance with Indonesian conditions.
"We need time to adjust this car for the market in Indonesia. Various tests are still being carried out to adjust the road conditions, traffic conditions in Indonesia," he concluded.
