JAKARTA - The Kobe Bryant rookie card, which is considered one of the rarest, according to Goldin Auctions, has been sold to an anonymous buyer for USD 1.795 million.
The card is one of only two in the world to be considered "black labeled original condition", and is the most expensive Kobe Bryant card ever sold, according to the auction house.

"The fact that the card sold for a final auction price of USD 1.795 million, an all-time record for a Kobe Bryant card, shows how much he is loved around the world", said Goldin Auctions founder Ken Goldin.
The NBA All-Star retired from the league in 2016 after carving out one of the most prestigious careers in basketball history, becoming the NBA's fourth all-time leading points scorer.
