'Squid Game' Doll In Tunjungan Surabaya Is Dismantled By Civil Service Police

SURABAYA - The Squid Game doll on Jalan Tunjungan, Surabaya City, was finally dismantled by Civil Service Police (Satpol PP) and Surabaya Disaster Management and Community Protection Agency (BPB Linmas). There are two reasons why Satpol PP transported the doll.

"First, because the erection of the doll statue is illegal or does not have a permit," said Head of BPB Linmas Surabaya, Irvan Widyanto, confirmed, Monday, October 11.

Another reason, Irfan called the doll that was part of the game 'Red Light, Green Light', caused a crowd. Because the Squid Game doll, attracts people's attention and takes selfies with the doll statue.

Irvan is worried that the crowd will spread the coronavirus. That's why the statue was dismantled. The dismantling of the lake was carried out on Sunday, October 10 evening.

The dolls that were dismantled have now been secured at the Satpol PP and BPB Linmas offices in Surabaya.

"The crowd has an impact on peace and public order, so we anticipate it. At this time we have called the doll installer for questioning," he said.
