Good News For 4,300 Koran Teachers In Kediri, They Will Get Incentive Rp100,000-300,000 Per Month

JAKARTA - The Government of Kediri Regency, East Java plans to provide incentives for Koran teachers by sending them directly to private accounts, as a form of attention from the government.

As reported by Antara, Kediri Regent Hanindhito Himawan Pramana said that current data collection was still being carried out regarding the number of Koran teachers who would receive incentives from the Kediri Regency Government. Until April 2021, there are around 4,300 TPQ teachers who have been registered.

"For TPQ, these are 4,300 teachers whose operational permits we give first. Data from the education office totals around 6 thousand," said Regent Dhito in Kediri, Wednesday, April 21.

He said that at this time there was still a study on whether the incentives would be given directly to teachers whose names had been registered or waiting for the completion of the data collection on TPQ teachers of around 6 thousand teachers to be completed.

"I decided for the data we have decided first, I am afraid that if we wait it will buy more time. However, now we are still collecting data," he said.

Mr. Bup, as he is also called, added that later every Koran teacher is also required to have his own bank account. This was done so that the incentive could be received directly from the aid provider to the recipient. Aid funds have also been prepared from the Kediri Regency Local Government Budget (APBD).

"We are discussing what the bank is so that it can go directly from the aid provider to the recipient. We are afraid that the aid will not arrive," said the son of Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.

As for the amount, Mr. Bup said that it is still under study between Rp100,000 to Rp300 thousand per month. The plan is that the assistance will be given every month directly to the account concerned.

"So, the request is every three months, one month, but I personally want it once a month. Please don't look at the size and size, but the local government cares about the Koran teachers because they are the ones who build the morale of the nation's successor," said Mr. Bup.
