BCA Bank Shophouse In Jakut Fire, Three Explosions Appear

JAKARTA - Bank BCA shophouse on Jalan Danau Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta (Jakut) caught fire. The sound of three explosions occurred when the incident occurred.

Head of the Gulkarmat Jakut Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said the incident occurred on Sunday, October 27, at 08.14 WIB.

"It is true that there was a conflict at the BCA Bank Shophouse. (There were) 3 explosions," said Gatot in his statement, Sunday, October 27.

He explained that the incident began when security officers heard an alarm that sounded. On that basis, he immediately saw firsthand, to make sure what happened to the shophouse.

Arriving at the location, the witness saw smoke followed by the sound of explosions 3 times. So, he immediately met the Firefighters (Damkar) in Jakarta.

On that basis, as many as 25 personnel and 5 units of the Jakut fire department were deployed. As a result, the fire was extinguished at 08.32 WIB

"At 08.14 WIB arrived at kp. At 08.32 WIB it was declared outage. (The cause) is suspected to be an Electric Short Circuit from the Water Pump Machine," he said.

On his occasion, he ensured that there were no casualties in the incident. The loss reached Rp. 10 million.
