3 Times Diklakson Doesn't Get Rid, Unidentified Man Desperately Puts Body On Train Track

JAKARTA - An unidentified resident is suspected of committing suicide by crashing himself into the Commuter Line train of the Cikarang-Kampung Bandan connection with train number 5083A that was passing.

The incident occurred at KM 15 + 6 / 7 Hilir Petak Line Jalan Cakung-Jatinegara, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, October 2, noon, at around 12.00 WIB.

"It is true that there were people who were grazed (accidentally hit). We received a report from the driver of PLB 5083A (CL Ckr-Kpb) TS 205 JR 28+19 (SF 12) that the person at Km 15+6/7 Hilir Petak Jalan Cakung-Jatinegara," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko to VOI, Wednesday, October 2, afternoon.

Prior to the incident, the train driver had honked the locomotive but was ignored.

"We have coordinated with related parties, namely the Klender Station Internal Security Officer (PKD) is heading to the location," he said.

The results of the inspection showed that the train series was in a safe condition. However, the identity of the resident who died is also unknown.

Ixfan emphasized, in accordance with Law Number 23 of 2007 concerning Railways Article 181 paragraph (1) "that everyone is prohibited from being in the good space of the railway line; dragging, moving, placing, or moving goods on the rails or crossing railroad lines; or using railroad lines for other purposes, other than for rail transportation."

"We urge the public not to carry out activities around the railway line area. If people see a potential danger or suspicious activity on the railway line, they can report it to the nearest station officer," he said.
