There Are 177 Infrastructure Packages Worth IDR 178 Trillion Worked By BUMN Karya

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) noted that currently there are 177 infrastructure packages with a total value of IDR 178 trillion which is being implemented by BUMN Karya. A total of 177 packages being worked on are infrastructure projects in the country.

This was conveyed by Deputy Minister (Wamen) of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti while accompanying PU Minister Dody Hanggodo to meet with SOE Minister Erick Thohir at the Ministry of SOEs office, Jakarta, Friday, November 15.

"Currently, the number of work packages at the Ministry of Public Works (which is being implemented by BUMN Karya) is 177 packages with a total value of almost Rp. 178 trillion, including the MYC," he said.

Diana also requested that the restructuring policy plan carried out by the Ministry of SOEs not interfere with the work of these projects.

"We follow the restructuring policy of the Ministry of SOEs, because it has been carefully considered and reviewed. We hope that it can continue to run well without interruption," he said.

Meanwhile, Minister Erick Thohir said that the effort to consolidate and restructure BUMN Karya was an effort to be healthier and more efficient in the implementation of infrastructure work.

Later, said Erick, the seven existing BUMN Karya will be covered by three parent companies. He considered that this restructuring would not interfere with the assignment and acceleration of the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita mission.

"The Ministry of SOEs has worked hard to ensure that all BUMN Karya can be healthier and actually work professionally and transparently to increase efficiency," he said.
