Israel Withdraws Troops From Southern Gaza, 10 Bodies Of Palestinians Found

JAKARTA - A total of 10 Palestinian bodies were found today after Israeli soldiers withdrew from areas in the southern Gaza Strip.

A medical source at Nasser Hospital told Anadolu quoted via Antara that the Palestinian's body was taken from the central and eastern parts of Khan Younis after Israeli soldiers withdrew from the region.

The troop withdrawal marked the end of a 22-day military offensive in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The operation left significant damage to residential buildings, roads, and severely damaged infrastructure, witnesses said.

Israel continues its brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip following the Hamas attack on October 7, despite UN Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire.

The intense attack left more than 40,600 Palestinians dead, mostly women and children, and more than 93,800 people injured, according to local health authorities.

The ongoing blockade in Gaza has caused food shortages, clean water and medicines, causing most of the region to collapse.

Israel faces allegations of genocide at the International Court ordering the halt to military operations in the southern city of Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians seek refuge before the territory is invaded on May 6.
