Arrested During A Demonstration At The DPR, Senior Singer Macica Mochtar Picks Up His Son At Polda Metro Jaya

Senior singer Machica Mochtar visited Polda Metro Jaya with the aim of picking up his son, Iqbal Ramadhan, who was secured by the police after the demonstration against the ratification of the revision of the Pilkada Law, in front of the DPR RI Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday, August 22.

"I'm Machica Mochtar who wants to pick up my son, M Iqbal Ramadhan," said Machica to reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, August 22.

Machica admitted that he received news that his son had a nasal injury, his bones were broken.

Out of curiosity, Machica came to Polda Metro Jaya.

Iqbal Ramdhan, who serves as the staff of the Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH), will be taken to the hospital for medical treatment because he suffered serious injuries to his nose.

"The nose is broken, so I have to take treatment, I want to have a post-mortem first," he said.

However, Machica admitted that she could not decide whether to make a report or not. Because for him, the main thing is the condition of his son.

"I don't know yet, I just wanted to meet my child, I don't know how my child is doing. But what is certain is that I want to see the condition first, then take action," he concluded.

As many as 301 people from the mass demonstration against the revision of the Pilkada Law were secured at the Polda Metro Jaya. Two of them are the Director of Lokataru, Del Pedro Marhaen and the son of the artist Machica Mochtar, Iqbal Ramadhan.
