JAKARTA - The Golkar Party's National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) has been completed. Acting Chairman Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita called this Rapimnas the fastest this time in history. Originally, the closing of the National Rapimnas would take place at 13.00 WIB. However, less than 11.00 WIB, Rapimnas was declared complete. "Alhamdulillah, our Rapimnas has been completed, ended well, quickly, remained constitutional, but still based on AD/ART, and maybe this is the fastest Rapimnas in the history of the Golkar Party," said Agus Gumiwang at JCC, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 20. "This shows that in the midst of the dynamics of any storm experienced by the Golkar Party, the Golkar Party quickly adapted the Golkar Party to remain solid. This is proof," he continued. Agus said the agreement in Rapimnas was taken by consensus deliberation. All participants of Rapimnas, he said, agreed to start the National Conference at 16.00 WIB this afternoon. "Some of the decisions that were taken, or decided in the first Rapimnas related to the agenda and rules of the National Rapimnas itself," he said. In addition, Agus said, all cadres accepted Airlangga Hartarto's decision to resign as general chairman. "Then the second, when it comes to the setback of Mr. Airlangga Hartarto from the Golkar Party and that has been accepted in Rapimnas," he continued. Then it was also decided in Rapimnas regarding the appointment of the Acting chairman of the Golkar party hang in charge of delivering Rapimnas to the XI National Conference.
