JAKARTA - A woman with the initials SB (25) is suspected of being a victim of domestic violence (KDRT) by her husband with the initials AR. The incident occurred in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, Friday, August 16, at 14.00 WIB.

Now SB has reported the incident to the South Jakarta Metro Police. The report is registered with Number:/LP/B/2496/VII/2024/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.

SB said that his two biological children often saw himself being tortured by Adam Rivai. Even when he was kicked while he was holding his 8-month-old baby.

"It's very precise with the video of domestic violence, which is going viral, I'm still holding my 2nd child and I hugged my tetek until it hit my child and he didn't care," said SB in his statement, Sunday, August 18.

She also explained when her father-in-law witnessed firsthand when she was tortured by her husband. However, the perpetrator's mother and father did not do anything, for fear of being reported.

"There was his father's mother, there his father's mother was already overwhelmed because her body was big, while her father's mother was not comparable to her, her mother was also injected with him, until I left, she even wanted to come with me," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, confirmed the report. Currently, his party is investigating the case.

"The report has been received, now it is an investigation," he said.

He also said that a number of witnesses had been examined. This aims to determine the actual incident of the case.

"Some have been checked," he concluded.
