Residents Of RW 05 Rawasari Ask The Central Jakarta City Government To Immediately Build Water Channels So That They Don't Flood Again

JAKARTA - A number of residents of RW 05, Rawasari Village, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, asked the Central Jakarta City Government to immediately create a water channel drain connecting to the RW 04 area.

The construction of the water channel drain is expected to be realized so that the area is not flooded.

"Residents hope that channel drains can be carried out so that there will be no more puddles," said the head of RW 05, Sukartono to reporters, Sunday, August 11.

In addition to requesting the manufacture of water channel drains, residents also asked for improvements to the transportation of garbage and cleaning of junk at the Waste Disposal Site (TPS) on Jalan Percetakan Negara XI, Cempaka Putih.

"If possible, the trash can be eliminated. Then the TPS treatment so as not to emit an unpleasant odor," he said.

Responding to this, the Deputy Head of Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Erik, said that his party was ready to accommodate residents' requests regarding the manufacture of waterway drains.

"We support the input of residents such as sodetan and cleaning up TPS," he said briefly.
