JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PAN faction, Zita Anjani. assessed that both Anies Baswedan and Kaesang Pangarep were worthy figures as candidates for the Governor of DKI Jakarta.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the PAN DPP who is currently encouraged by his party to become a candidate for Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 gubernatorial election. Zita also expressed her personal assessment of Anies and Kaesang.

"Everything is good. Mr. Anies is good, I am a fan. Mas Kaesang is really good. It just means what it means," said Zita at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Thursday, August 1.

Then, does Zita really want to run as a cawagub? The daughter of the General Chairperson of PAN Zulkifli Hasan admitted that she was just a party official. So, he will carry out whatever instructions from his party, including participating in the contestation of the Jakarta gubernatorial election

"I am a party cadre. The one who determines the party leadership. So, what am I the result, I will live it because I am not the one who determines. The party leaders," said Zita.

Previously, the Chairman of the DPW PAN Jakarta Eko Hendro Purnomo or Eko Patrio said his party would prioritize providing support for the prospective governor candidate (cagub) supported by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

Even so, according to him, PAN has decided to present the name Zita Anjani as a deputy governor candidate. According to him, the female politician is projected by PAN to be paired with anyone.

"Even better, Zita Anjani with Kaesang, Kaesang as governor, Zita as deputy governor, both young, complement each other, so make me attractive," said Eko.

Meanwhile, PAN opened the opportunity to participate in carrying Anies Baswedan as the deputy governor of Jakarta 2024. The condition is that Zita Anjani must be the deputy governor of Anies' companion. This was conveyed by the Deputy Chairperson of PAN, Yandri Susanto in response to NasDem's decision to officially declare Anies to run in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"PAN does not rule out the possibility of joining Anies as well. But on condition that the deputy is from PAN, Zita Anjani," Yandri told reporters, Saturday, July 27.

Yandri promised the Cagub Decree (SK) for Anies to be issued immediately if he chose Zita as his cawagub. Otherwise, the daughter of the General Chair of PAN has the opportunity to be duetted with other candidates.

"PAN is confirming all of them. So if for example Anies takes Zita, the decree will immediately come out tomorrow. Directly our declaration. PAN is at the forefront of winning," said Yandri.
