Many Easy Ingredients Burned At SDN 01 Pondok Bambu, 18 Damkar Cars Difficulty With Water Sources

The fire that hit SDN 01 Pondok Bambu, Jalan Gading II and Jalan H Kavling, RT 05/11, Pondok Bambu, Pondok Bambu Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, was finally successfully extinguished on Tuesday afternoon, July 23.

The fire was extinguished at 14.11 WIB. However, during the fire extinguishing process, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers had difficulty getting water supplies for the spraying process during the evacuation of the fire extinguishing.

"The condition of the water source is very difficult, we have deployed 14 fire engines (cars), which until now we are still having difficulty with water sources," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid when confirmed by VOI.

Currently, the flames have been extinguished by 18 units of cars with 90 personnel from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

"When the blackout operation was completed at 14.11 WIB. The object caught fire at the elementary school building 01, there were 18 rooms on fire. 12 classes and the rest were teacher rooms, canteens, drumbands, administrative planning and others," he said.

Abdul Wahid explained that this fire was first discovered by a guard who saw a puff of smoke above the school's warehouse, which probably contained a drumband.

"Then there was a bridge and grabbed the classroom and in another room there were 18 rooms. If the business administration room, the drumband room had lots of equipment, there were archives or books that were not used. It's a shame that the fire bridge was fast enough," he said.

As a result of the fire, some of the school's archives were burned down. But some of the other archives were rescued.

"Hopefully this archive that has not caught fire is important for our blackout operation," he said.

This fire incident was reported by residents that occurred at 12.04 WIB. Sub-Department Gulkarmat then dispatched 12 fire engines with 60 personnel to the location of the fire.
