Cipinang Prison Prisoner Enters Straft Cell In Nusakambangan, Room For Inmates Violators Of The Order

JAKARTA - The Class 1 Cipinang Correctional Institution (Lapas), East Jakarta has transferred a convict in the rape case of a minor with the initials MA who was involved in the case of extortion in the mode of spreading nude photos of junior high school students in Bandung. MA will be placed in a straft cell, Nusakambangan Prison.

"We place it in the straft cell (isolation cell), Nusakambangan, for inmates who violate the rules (tatib)." said Head of Cipinang Class 1 Prison, Prayer Manik to reporters, Monday, July 1.

The transfer of the convict in the extortion case to Nusakambangan Prison was carried out on Sunday, June 30, evening.

"Last night, the Supreme Court was transferred to Nusakambangan Prison on Sunday, June 30, at around 23.00 WIB," he said.

This case emerged after the West Java Regional Police arrested the suspect MA alias Cakra for extorting the victim's parents by threatening to distribute nude photos of the victim who is a junior high school student in Bandung.

The Supreme Court is looking for victims via social media (Medsos). This case was revealed after the victim's parents reported it to the Cyber Sub-Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the West Java Police.

The Supreme Court suspect met via Instagram social media with 13-year-old AN victim, a junior high school student in Bandung City in March 2024. From that introduction, the MA and AN perpetrators were familiar because MA used a fake account with the name @Cakra_alv and a photo of a typical Korean handsome man.

Then, MA and AN intensely communicate via WhatsApp even though they have never met. On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the victim's parents received a short message on WhatsApp from an unknown number. The message contains photos and videos of victims AN naked.
