Four people died on Saturday morning in the city center of Kyiv, Ukraine, as a result of the Russian attack.

The military chief administration of Ukraine's capital, Timur Tkachenko, said the death occurred in the city's Shevchenkivskyi district.

The falling debris also hit the Holosiivskyi district on the west bank of the Dnipro River flowing through the capital and in Desnyanskyi district on the opposite edge.

Kta Mayor Kyiv Vitali Klitschko said the air defenses were operating around the city.

Authorities have warned of the danger of drone and missile attacks ahead of the attack. The airstrike warning in the capital was lifted after being in effect for more than an hour.
