The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights Intensifies Efforts To Prevent And Circulate Drugs

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of the Maluku Regional Office (Kanwil) intensified efforts to prevent and circulate drugs in Maluku.

"Drug eradication efforts cannot be carried out by the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office itself, but require cooperation and synergy from all parties," said Head of the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office Hendro Tri Prasetyo, quoting ANTARA, Sunday, June 30.

He said that the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office had shown its commitment through various concrete efforts in supporting the Prevention and Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Dark Circulation (P4GN) program.

Various efforts have been made, namely counseling and education about the dangers of drugs to the community, especially to students and students.

"The Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office is actively going to schools and campuses to provide counseling and education about the dangers of drugs and encourage the younger generation to stay away from drugs," he said.

Then carry out periodic drug urine tests on all employees of the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office and Correctional Inmates (WBP) at the Correctional Institution (Lapas) and Detention Center (Rutan).

"This is done as an early detection of drug abuse and rehabilitation for drug users," he said.

The Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights is also collaborating with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and other relevant agencies in eradicating drugs. The Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office is also actively involved in various drug eradication operations and activities carried out by BNN and other relevant agencies.

For the strong commitment of the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights in fighting drugs, the agency was awarded the active role of supporting partners and implementing partners of P4GN.

"This award is the result of the dedication and hard work of the Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office in realizing Maluku which is free from drugs, in line with the mission of the Maluku Provincial Government to build superior human resources," he said.
