JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Muhammad Yusuf Hadi as the Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) today, Thursday, December 19. He was examined as a witness even though he was already a suspect in a corruption case related to business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

The anti-corruption commission has named four suspects in this corruption case even though it has not been officially announced. They are the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as Director of Planning and Development; Yusuf Hadi who serves as Commercial and Service Director; and Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

"The investigation was carried out at the Red and White House of the Corruption Eradication Commission," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, December 19.

Investigators have also summoned Harry MAC as Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) as a witness on Wednesday, December 18. He was asked to explain the acquisition process of PT Jembatan Nusantara from preparation to implementation.

Previously reported, the KPK continues to investigate allegations of corruption related to business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). Internal parties' involvement other than those who have been named as suspects continues to be investigated.

This case is said by the anti-corruption commission to cost the state up to Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing. Because, the calculation is still being carried out.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.
