JAKARTA - Singer Virgoun alias VTP was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police along with a woman with the initials PA in a boarding room in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, for drug abuse.
The boarding house is known to belong to Virgoun alias VTP in South Jakarta. Virgoun and PA were arrested on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at around 01.00 WIB.
Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga, explained that the two were arrested in a boarding room owned by VTP in the Ampera area, South Jakarta.
"During the search, we secured evidence in the form of methamphetamine and a suction device," he said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, June 21.
Kasat explained that when they were arrested, the two of them were cooperative. The police also conducted urine tests on VTP and PA.
"Both of them have positive urine containing methamphetamine (shabu)," he said.
In addition, AKBP Panjiyoga also stated that further health checks would be carried out on the two suspects. Currently, the deepening process of the case is still ongoing.
"We still have 3x24 hours to investigate the case," he said.
AKBP Panjiyoga asked for time to complete the investigation process and promised to provide further information in the near future.
