Hasto Kristiyanto's Kusnadi Staff Admits He Ever Met Harun Masiku

The staff of the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi, admitted that he had met Harun Masiku, who is currently a fugitive from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). However, he did not specify when the meeting would be.

This was conveyed by Kusnadi after being examined as a witness by KPK investigators today. The examination was carried out for almost 8.5 hours from 10.00 WIB until 18.30 WIB.

"Yes, I've (meeted Harun Masiku, ed)," said Kusnadi briefly after being questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

Kusnadi did not specify the investigation that he had just completed. He only made sure there was no discussion about Harun Masiku from his cellphone or Hasto, which was confiscated by investigators on Monday, June 10.

He said the conversation on the cellphone was only in the form of party affairs. Among them is paying a number of series of party events such as when PDIP held a puppet when commemorating Bung Karno's Month which became an annual event.

"There is no conversation with HM, yes, (there is, red) regular (related, red) payment conversations," he said.

"Payment for wayang, yesterday was just payments," continued Kusnadi.

As previously reported, Harun Masiku became a fugitive after being named a suspect in giving bribes to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to serve as a member of the DPR through interim shifts (PAW).

The investigators have recently examined four witnesses to find their whereabouts after pocketing new information. One of them is PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto on Monday, June 10. During the examination, KPK investigators also confiscated cellphones and notebooks that were claimed to contain the winning of the 2024 Pilkada held by Hasto Kristiyanto Staff, Kusnadi. This made PDIP suspected that politicization had occurred.

In addition, the confiscation resulted in reporting to the KPK Supervisory Board to Komnas HAM. Anti-corruption commission investigators are considered to have worked by not following the applicable rules.
