Jasa Marga Records 174,979 Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 174,979 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area on D-3 for the long holiday period of Eid al-Adha 1445H or on Friday, June 14, 2024.

This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT towards Merak, Ciawi GT towards Puncak, and Cikampek Utama GT towards Trans Java and Kalihurip Utama GT towards Bandung.

"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 18.42 percent compared to normal traffic," said Jasa Marga Marketing & Communication Department Head Faiza Riani, Saturday, June 15.

For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek heading to three directions, namely the majority of 91,592 vehicles heading East towards Trans Java and Bandung, 45,110 vehicles heading towards Merak and 38,277 vehicles heading south to Puncak.

The details of the traffic distribution are as follows:

-East Jakarta and Bandung (Trans Java and Bandung) Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 49,363 vehicles, an increase of 78.66 percent from normal traffic.

Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 42,229 vehicles, an increase of 21.95 percent from normal traffic.

The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 91,592 vehicles, an increase of 47.12 percent from normal traffic.

-West Arah (Merak) Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 45,110 vehicles, 8.25 percent lower than normal traffic.

-South direction (Puncak) Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 38,277 vehicles, an increase of 5.32 percent from normal traffic.

Faiza explained that the highest traffic peak prediction will occur today, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 195,966 vehicles, an increase of 32.94 percent to normal.

"Jasa Marga continues to ensure that Jasa Marga Group toll road operational services during the long holiday of Eid al-Adha 1445H/2024 run optimally," he concluded.
