Jasa Marga Records 154,443 Vehicles Returning To Jabotabek

This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (from Merak), GT Ciawi (from Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (from the direction of Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (from the direction of Bandung). The total volume of traffic returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 17.1 percent when compared to normal traffic.

For traffic distribution back to Jabotabek from the three directions, the majority were 75,730 vehicles from the East (Trans Java and Bandung), 39,567 vehicles from the South (Puncak) and 39,146 vehicles from the West (Merak).

The details of the traffic distribution are as follows:

-East Lalin's return to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is 35,354 vehicles, an increase of 37.8 percent from normal traffic.- Traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama GT Cipularang Toll Road is 40,376 vehicles, an increase of 36.5 percent from normal traffic. The total traffic returns to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs as many as 75,730 vehicles, an increase of 37.1 percent from normal traffic.

-West direction

Traffic returning to Jabotabek from Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 39,146 vehicles, 14.4 percent lower than normal traffic.

-South Korea Meanwhile, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 39,567 vehicles, an increase of 27.7 percent from normal traffic.

Jasa Marga Marketing & Communication Department Head, Faiza Riani, explained that the peak of vehicle traffic returning to Jabotabek is predicted to occur today, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, with a total of 225,841 vehicles, an increase of 78.69 percent from normal traffic.

On the D-Day of Eid al-Adha 1445H/2024 (Monday, June 17, 2024), the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek was recorded to be higher when compared to traffic leaving Jabotabek. For traffic leaving Jabotabek at four main toll gates on that day, there were 114,205 vehicles, 13.34 percent lower than normal traffic.

Jasa Marga also appealed to road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road. Ensure that vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, ensure the adequacy of fuel and electronic money balances, use rest areas to rest if you are tired of driving and obey signs and directions from officers.
