ODGJ Angry During E-KTP Recording In Cilangkap, Officers Find Common Photos

JAKARTA - The e-KTP recording process for People With Mental Disorders (ODGJ) carried out by the East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. (Dukcapil) has taken place dramatically.

The recording of the e-KTP against the ODGJ residents of Cilangkap was hampered because one of the ODGJs who wanted to be recorded as an ID card suddenly went berserk.

One of the ODGJ named Suriadi (53) refused when the e-KTP recording process was carried out. In fact, he almost attacked the officers. But in the end, the ODGJ was willing to record the e-KTP.

To calm ODGJ, the officer took a strategy by asking the Cilangkap Village officer for a photo together. But actually the one who was photographed was the ODGJ.

Officers took photos and fingerprints of ODGJs. As for the recording of the retina, the eye is not done, because this is an exception category because the object is ODGJ.

According to Jali (45), the family of one of the ODGJs said that his brother had never had an ID card because he had a mental disorder.

He hopes that with the issuance of the KTP later, it can be used to make BPJS Health cards.

"So far, we have had difficulty getting treatment because there is no BPJS Health card. With the issuance of the KTP, it is hoped that it will be possible to make BPJS Kesehatan," he said.
