Couriers And Users Of Methamphetamine Get A Reward Of IDR 1.8 Million For Sending Goods, Arrested

The police arrested a man with the initials KS who was suspected of being a user and drug dealer of methamphetamine in Menteng Wadas Selatan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Friday, April 19, at 20.00 WIB.

Tebet Police Chief, Kompol Murohih said that during the action, KS was given instructions by the perpetrator named Irfan Maulanan alias Kebod. Later, every item he manages to sell will be rewarded for IDR 1.8 million.

Furthermore, KS took the illicit goods in the Tanjung Priok area, North Jakarta. He took illicit goods near the garbage, so that the perpetrator did not know the face that gave the direction.

"The plan will be circulated, then he will get a reward in 100 grams, get Rp 1.8 million," Murohi told reporters, Wednesday, May 8.

"Through the cellphone that was without a name, through the private number he guided. At that time, the suspect took the item directly by the suspect in one place, which is located in the Tanjung Priok area," he continued.

The action was finally revealed after receiving a report from the public. The police immediately conducted an investigation until finally KS was arrested.

The police found evidence in the form of drugs weighing 488.87 grams. Then a unit of digital electric scales was also found and 22 large plastic clips that had not been filled.

"For a guide named Irfan Maulana, it is included in the wanted list (DPO)," he said

Currently, KS has been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 sub 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 38 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a threat of 20 years in prison.

"A maximum of 20 years is the penalty," he concluded.
