Journalists In Tangerang Allegedly Become Victims Of Persecution When Covering Fuel Abuse

TANGERANG - Police are following up on a report by a journalist with the initials AS who is suspected of being a victim of abuse while covering a group of people who were abusing fuel on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Taman Cibodas, Tangerang City.

The Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang City Police, Kompol Aryono, explained that the incident began when the journalist followed the truck into the gas station. However, when following the victim, it was discovered that the group of perpetrators and received persecution.

"We have received the victim's report, it has been done by Visum," said Aryono in his statement, Tuesday, May 7.

Currently, his party is investigating the case to find out the truth.

"Currently, clarification is being carried out to all parties in the investigation process to find out the chronology and background," he said.

On that occasion, Aryono said that if he found a similar case or other criminal act, he would immediately report it to the police.
