Prabowo And Egyptian President Compactly Voice Ceasefire In Palestine

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and President of the Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi compactly voiced a ceasefire in Palestine. This was revealed after the two held a bilateral meeting at the Al Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, Cairo, Egypt, Wednesday, December 18.

El-Sisi said Egypt and Indonesia had a number of similar views, especially regarding the conflict that occurred in the Middle East. He said he and Prabowo both pushed for a ceasefire in Palestine.

"We are also talking together about the position of responding to the world's _update_ developments, especially in the Middle East. In this region, we are talking a lot about developments in the Middle East as in Syria," said El-Sisi.

"We also encourage the continued ceasefire in Palestine and the solutions of the two countries, Israel and Palestine," he continued.

In line with El-Sisi, Prabowo also said that Indonesia and Egypt's commitment to encourage the end of the conflict in Palestine.

"We agreed to make peace and we propose a ceasefire immediately for humanity," Prabowo said.

In addition, Prabowo praised Egypt's move to echo humanitarian aid for Gazans, Palestinians. "We appreciate Egypt's negotiations to encourage humanitarian aid to Gaza and other Palestinians," he said.

In addition to calling for partisanship with Palestine, a number of collaborations have also become the main topics of the meeting of the two. On that occasion, Prabowo emphasized his desire to have a closer relationship with Egypt through a number of fields such as trade, culture and education.
