Sad News, South Sulawesi MTQ Panel Of Judges Died While Becoming Imam Of Fajr Prayers

JAKARTA - The MTQ Panel of South Sulawesi Province Anre Gurutta Haji (AGH) DR Mujahid Said, M.Ag died while being the imam of the dawn prayer at the Grand Mosque of Takalar Regency, Sunday.

"He died after the first rakaat shop when he was the imam of the dawn prayer at the Takalar Grand Mosque," said Head of Islamic Religious Information, Zakat and Deputy Head of the South Sulawesi Ministry of Religion Regional Office, H Abdul Gaffar, quoted from Antara, Sunday, May 5.

He said the existence of the Lecturer of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Bone Regency, because he accepted the mandate as Council of Judges of Assembly IV of the Hifzh Al-Qur'an Branch of Group 1 Juz and Tilawah and 5 Juz and Tilawah in the MTQ competition in South Sulawesi Province in Takalar Regency.

According to him, when AGH Mujahid fell after the break at the same time, he had breathed his last. However, for certainty, he was immediately taken to the nearest hospital and it turned out that the media team had declared his death.

Before leaving for AGH Mujahid's residence in Bone Regency, Assistant I of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government Muhammad Rasyid representing the Acting Governor of South Sulawesi led the release of the body of the IAIN Bone lecturer.

"We are sorry for the death of AGH Mujahid, who is one of the South Sulawesi MTQ Judges held in Takalar," said Acting Regent Takalar Setiawan Aswad who accompanied the release event.

AGH Mujahid is a lecturer at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah in IAIN Bone and is an alumni of the Assadiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School.
