JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is continuing to investigate the alleged bribery for the construction of infrastructure projects in South Sulawesi.

Investigators cross-examined (confrontation) three suspects, in this case, namely the non-active South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah, Secretary of the Public Works Office of South Sulawesi Edy Rahmat, and contractor Agung Sucipto.

"The KPK investigating team explored the suspects' knowledge, including the alleged work on several projects by the US suspect (Agung Sucipto) which was previously approved by the suspect NA (Nurdin Abdullah) through the ER suspect (Edy Rahmat)," Ali said in a written statement on Monday, March 8.

In addition, during the investigation, the KPK also questioned the three regarding the handover of fee money to Nurdin by Agung through Edy as an intermediary.

"The complete information has certainly been contained in the investigation dossier which will be disclosed in front of a trial which is open to the public," he said.
