Man's Body Found In Cassava Garden, Police Call Victim Drunk And Overdose

JAKARTA - A teenage boy with the initials AL was found dead in a cassava plantation in the Kemiri area, Tangerang Regency. The victim is thought to have died from overdose and liquor (alcohol).

Mauk Police Chief, AKP Kudratullah said that if the discovery of the body occurred on Thursday, May 2, in the morning.

"The victim often drank alcohol. It is suspected that he died of an overdose," said Kudratullah when confirmed, Thursday, May 2.

Kudratullah explained that the incident began when the witness was passing by on a cassava plantation, he saw a man lying down. On that basis, he saw that he had died.

The witness immediately reported to the local RT and the police. The police who received the information immediately investigated, the results found no signs of violence.

"However, burns were found," he said.

Therefore, to determine the cause of death of the victim, the victim is currently being taken to the Balaraja Hospital for further action.

"Currently it has been taken to the Balaraja Hospital," he concluded.
