TNI Commander: Sweeping Of Explosives Was Carried Out By The Jihandak Team For 2 Kilometers

JAKARTA - The location of the Paldam Jaya Regional Munition Warehouse (Gud cheap) is far from residential areas and is underground. So that when the explosion occurred, it was considered quite safe to avoid the victim.

"There are no victims, because it is far from community settlements," said TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto in an official statement to reporters, Sunday, March 31.

Gud al-cheat Paldam Jaya is a storage warehouse for ammunition left over from training or findings and ammunition that have been expired.

According to the TNI Commander, the munitions were stored in the warehouse because they were still in the central level of inspection and verification.

"Later, when the Pangdam Jaya has decided, it will be exposed," he said.

The TNI Commander also said that his party had deployed an investigation team to conduct an investigation. The investigation team consists of the Military Police (PM) and the investigation team has been at the location since Saturday night, March 30.
