Kapendam Jaya: This Morning The Investigation Team To The Location Of The Munisi Bullet Warehouse Explosion

JAKARTA - Kapendam Jaya, Colonel Inf. Deki Rayusyah Putra said that the handling of fires and explosions in the ammunition warehouse belonging to the TNI in Bogor had been handled by the DKI, Bogor and Bekasi firefighters on Sunday, March 31, at dawn.

"The explosion and fire at the Paldam Jaya Regional Munisi Warehouse (Gud cheap) last night were handled with firefighters from three cities," he said when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, March 31, morning.

DKI, Bogor and Bekasi firefighters were only able to enter the hotspots for the ammunition warehouse fire at 01.00 WIB.

"Damkar masuk dari jam 01.00 WIB sampai 03.45 WIB, setelah sudah aman dan dilakukan penyuriman," ucapnya.

Regarding the fire and explosion incident in the ammunition warehouse, no residents were evacuated and no casualties. However, many residents were affected by the explosion.

"If this morning is true and believes it is safe, then the investigation team can work to find out the exact cause," he said.

The Regional Munition Warehouse (Gud cheap) of the Regional Military Command Jaya TNI AD in Ciangsana, Bogor Regency, West Java, exploded on Saturday at around 18.30 WIB until the warehouse caught fire.

Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Kristomei Sianturi said that as of 20.23 WIB, the fire was still burning the munitions warehouse complex.

The Munisi Warehouse for the Jaya Regional Military Command in Ciangsana keeps various types of Indonesian Army munitions, including large-caliber bullets, munitions for field artillery, and air defense artillery (arhanud).
