Water Mixed Gasoline At Pertamina Bekasi Retail Gas Station, Management Of Damaged Vehicle Responsibility

BEKASI CITY - The discovery of mixed gasoline at gas stations 34,17106, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, near Bekasi Station, Bekasi City, West Java, was followed up by the Bekasi City Government (Pemkot), Wednesday, March 27.

This finding began with the presence of several motorbikes and cars that suddenly broke down after filling fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations 34,17106. After being investigated, it turned out that the pertalite type fuel was indicated to be mixed with water.

The incident occurred on Monday night, March 25, 2024. The incident occurred at around 21.00 WIB. The vehicle owners also complained to the gas station while carrying a sample of Pertalite fuel mixed with water.

Furthermore, the Bekasi City Government through the Metrology Division of the Trade and Industry Office (Disperindag) has visited the location directly to confirm and ask for a chronology of the incident.

"Our team has visited the location directly and met the owner of the gas station to confirm and ask for the chronology of the incident," said Head of the Bekasi City Industry and Trade Office, Roberts Siagaan when confirmed, Wednesday, March 27.

Robert asked gas station management to check and implement the SOP for each distribution and delivery of fuel to gas stations.

In addition, the gas station has temporarily suspended distribution and checked and repaired the pertalite, pertamax, dexlite and pertamina dex product tanks.

"The gas station is also fully responsible for the damage to consumer vehicles in this incident," he said.

Meanwhile, the gas station has also repaired (task curvature) consumer vehicles that have broken down and replaced the filling of fuel for consumer vehicles with Pertamax. Currently, the Pertamina team and depot are conducting further investigations.
