Electricity Without Flickering Supports The Peak Of National Press Day Celebrations In 2024

JAKARTA - The 2024 National Press Day (HPN) with the theme "Starting the Transition of National Leadership and Caring for the Integrity of the Nation" took place lively at the Ecovention, Ancol, North Jakarta on Tuesday 20 February. PLN Main Distribution Unit (UID) Jakarta Raya presents reliable electricity to meet the electricity needs of the event.

PLN's contribution to the 2024 HPN is a small part of the big collaboration between PLN and the Press to provide information that has a positive impact on the community. The good relationship between PLN and the press has been well established so far and will continue to increase in order to create information disclosure to the public that is better.

The success of the 2024 National Press Day cannot be separated from the reliability of the electricity supply that we maintain strictly. We convey that the celebration of the 2024 HPN peak at the Ancol Ecovention takes place brilliantly, without the slightest electrical barrier, indicating the quality of our services that are not broken," said Lasiran.

To maintain this success, PLN UID Jakarta has placed officers on guard tirelessly, changing shifts for a full 24 hours, ensuring the safety and reliability of electricity supply. As a form of commitment, two Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units with a capacity of 300 kVA and 200 kVA have been prepared.

Lasiran added that the 2024 National Press Day celebrations were seamless, starting on February 6, 2024, in various locations. PLN successfully oversees every activity, ensuring the smooth running of electricity supply on this annual agenda.

"We are committed to always attending, guarding every national and international event that takes place in Jakarta. With sufficient electricity supply, we promise to continue to provide stable electricity services," concluded Lasiran.

The current electricity supply for PLN UID Jakarta Raya is 9,062 MW with a peak load of 5,526 MW. Very sufficient to meet the electricity needs of the people of Jakarta or other major events in Jakarta.
