Muhaimin Promises To Boost Fertilizer Production

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar promised to boost fertilizer production if he won the presidential election with Anies Baswedan.

"Kulo Kalih Mas Anies (I and Anies) are also determined that once they win the February 14, 2024 election on October 20, they will be sworn in in the morning, in the afternoon we immediately try to summon all fertilizer factories, we force them to produce as much fertilizer as possible," he said during the National Awakening Party (PKB) grand campaign in Banyuwangi, East Java, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

Even Cak Imin promised not to hesitate and immediately ordered the construction of a new fertilizer factory, if the production could not meet the needs of farmers.

Muhaimin called the action an effort to no longer let the people, especially farmers live in misery

"Nek (if) can't afford it, or if necessary, we will build a new fertilizer factory, for the needs of the people," he emphasized.

The chairman of the PKB stated that the state had been neglecting the needs of farmers for too long. So far, farmers are in a condition that is suffering and needs the help of the state.

"This is called not allowing the people to suffer. This is called not ignoring our farmers. That is what is called change," he said.
